After the positive reception and strong interest from our customers in our automation solutions, teknics is returning at IDS 2025 with automation proposals!
In this edition, we will showcase the range of solutions teknics offers to meet the industry's needs for automating production processes, inspection, and packaging of dental implant and abutment manufacturers.
It is the 41st edition of IDS and stands as one of the largest events in the global dental industry, held every two years at the “Koelnmesse” in Cologne, Germany. Over five days, more than 120,000 visitors gather to explore the latest solutions, technologies, and products presented by nearly 1,800 exhibitors across seven exhibition halls covering 180,000 square meters.
We look forward to welcoming you at Hall 11.2, Stand R-034, where we will present our automation solutions and technologies for the dental sector, including the DentalTest system. The DentalTest DT100 is a flexible, fully automated system for dimensional and surface quality inspection of dental implants and abutments, using Deep Learning technology.
Furthermore, we will also present other automation solutions such as the following ones:
Automated Laser Marking Station: A modular and compact station designed to automate batch marking within an existing laser marking setup. The laser system enables the permanent marking of instruments, implants, and equipment with essential information such as serial numbers, barcodes, logos, and Unique Device Identifiers (UDI). This process ensures traceability, regulatory compliance, and the integrity of dental instruments.
Automated Sandblasting Station: The sandblasting process, commonly used for implants, prepares dental surfaces by directing a controlled stream of abrasive particles. This technique serves as an alternative to traditional dental drills for certain procedures, offering a minimally invasive approach to stain removal, tooth preparation for restorations, and creating a roughened texture that enhances integration with surrounding bone tissue.
